ARTIST STATEMENT - Over at Snail’s Pond explores texture and the beauty found in life’s smaller moments. This one-of-a-kind piece started as a custom 3D model created and printed right in my studio, the piece was finished with layered paint, UV resin for water, and synthetic greenery. The end result is a blend of modern fabrication and organic detail, built to recreate a quiet piece of the outdoors.

Over at Snail’s Pond was featured in the Watauga Arts Council’s exhibition Touchpoints: Exploring Texture in Art, held at the Watuga Art Council’s Main Gallery in Boone, NC from October 6th to December 14th, 2026. The show spotlighted works where texture takes center stage, celebrating tactile storytelling through built-up surfaces, layered paint, and dynamic mixed media.
